Punctually to the kitzinger spring on coming sunday, 14. April, it’s supposed to get warmer. Then nothing stands in the way of a success of this first open sunday this year. The city marketing association is in good spirits.
As in previous years, the car mile will be located in the area of falterstrabe/luitpoldstrabe. In addition, a part of the kaiserstrabe will be used to offer space for further exhibitors, because this year two-wheeler suppliers, the water rescue service and the bavarian red cross have confirmed their participation. The craftsmen get a new location this time and present themselves with their whole variety in the kaiserstrabe.
As in the past years, the organization team again relies on several live musical accents in the city center: at the falterturm, the duo "spink" alias norbert henneberger on the (electric) piano and norbert gopfert on the saxophone entertains with classics of pop and rock music, up to jazzy interludes.
The kitzingen newcomer band "stedred" offers rock, pop and reggae and will be heard unplugged for the first time. Visitors to the marketplace can enjoy international and german rock – presented unplugged – by the duo "le.Cker" (timo lechner and hannes becker).
Game and spab
Play opportunities for the youngest visitors are plentiful at the square of the twin towns: here is the popular bungee trampoline; if that is too exciting for you, you can go for a spin on the carousel or have your make-up done.
Kitzingen’s retailers have prepared a flowery welcome gift for their guests on open sunday. Beyond that the kitzinger stores hold one or the other surprise action ready. And in the city there are food and drink stands.
Welcome to the main-post
For example, the main-post presents at the konigsplatz from 12.30 to 17.30 o’clock the pictures from the photo contest "hidden beauties" via LCD television. All children get a subigkeit and visitors get a cup of coffee for free. At 2 p.M., the prizes from the photo competition will be handed over to the winners.
Also in the commercial area goldberg some companies have sales open and present their current spring offers.
