"You are light" is the title of eva-maria klohr’s new album. The songwriter and singer chose the dreieinigkeitskirche in dettelbach for the release concert. About 90 visitors came and were able to experience a terrific evening. Even the cancellation of guitarist michael dorniak at short notice due to health reasons did not dampen the magic of the concert, according to a press release.
Eva-maria klohr celebrated each of her profound songs, linking them with little stories from her life and poems of hope and peace. As in each of their concerts, the song "ganz nah" immediately led to a devotional mood.
Until the break the artist sang the quieter songs of the album. In the second part, she asked her audience to sing along to the refrains of the now more upbeat titles. After the last song "du mogest im frieden sein" eva-maria klohr received the well-deserved applause of an audience united in sincere enthusiasm.
Also pastor uli vogel was more than pleased and described the evening aptly as a church service. During the train song "amen" everyone stood hand in hand, swaying back and forth to the beat, and said a soulful goodbye to the cozy evening. Thus the album is a testimony of the artist’s deep faith in god, wanted to pass on her joy of life and, as eva-maria klohr put it, "carry light into the world". The cd is available at eva-maria klohr directly as well as in selected book and monastery stores.
